James M. Conrad received his BS in Computer Science from University of Illinois, Urbana, and his Master's and Doctorate degrees in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is currently a project manager at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications and an adjunct professor at North Carolina State University. He is the author of numerous book chapters, journal articles, and conference papers in the areas of robotics, parallel processing, artificial intelligence, and engineering education.
