Ian Agranat is the president/CTO of Agranat Systems, Inc. Before founding Agranat Systems in 1991, he was principal engineer at Prime Computer, where he helped develop a number of innovative network communications products. He also developed product architectures for Lightstream Corporation, (now Cisco) and Ungermann-Bass, Inc. (now Newbridge), and worked on networking products for Chipcom and Synnernetics (both now 3Com). His engineering experience includes designing real-time embedded operating systems, hardware diagnostics, developing software for multi-processing architectures, and directing the development of new technologies.
